How do I look after my skin properly?

If you look at TikTok or Instagram, you see countless skincare routines and don't even know what and how to do everything.

Whether it’s as many steps as possible (Korean Skincare: 10 steps) or using complicated-sounding products (which are best obtained directly from the online store) rollers, dabs, brushes and UV masks – the internet is full of beauty gadgets that are supposed to simplify skincare.

Do I really need all these things

Not every routine is suitable for every skin type, so it’s important to know first of all: What does my skin actually need?

20-year-old skin doesn’t need an anti-ageing miracle weapon, just a good cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and regular exfoliation.

With so many beauty products on offer, sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees.

 

 

Here are my recommendations:

Gentle pH-neutral cleansing (emulsion, foam or gel) (morning and evening) Moisturizing serums (morning and evening) Day care with sun protection factor Night care according to skin type Retinol overnight 1-2 times a week from October to March,

Alternatively: Bakuchiol (makes the skin less sensitive to light) Exfoliation (2x a week in the evening after cleansing)
